There is no denying that leopard print has been making a comeback in the fashion world. The 2000s-reminiscent print has been spotted on mini skirts, kitten heels, and everything in between, earning the title as this fall’s “new neutral.”

The return of animal print to the fashion world is closely associated with the “mob wife” look and the revival of indie sleaze, which initially garnered popularity between 2006 and 2012. Both styles emphasize the imperfect– think messier makeup, oversized coats, leather, and lace.

Proving the print's utmost resurgence, searches for “leopard print jeans” on Pinterest have increased 2990% since last year. On social media, the leopard print trend has gained traction through the “Glamour” leopard print TikTok trend, where people have been posting both their best leopard print looks and videos of the animals themselves.

On the runway, brands like Ganni, Chloé, Jacquemus, and Alaïa have also joined in on the leopard print revival, taking inspiration from the collections of the early 1990s. Shoes have been another focal point of the trend, with brands such as Wales Bonner and Adidas collaborating to design highly coveted leopard print sneakers that have been increasingly difficult to get one's hands on.

However you choose to flaunt leopard print, whether it's through a bold matching set or a scarf, it will surely elevate your look.
